Watching Chicks Hatch

Posted on

We’ve been learning about lifecycles of plants and animals in Kindergarten.

Our school has recently set up a chicken coop, and to have a chicken coop we needed chickens. So, Henny Penny Hatchings have set us up an incubator with eggs, and a temporary pen to keep the hatched chicks as they grow.

We have been going to KM to visit the chicks and watch as they hatch out of their eggs. We’ve been able to hold and pat them, and even give them a soft kiss. They are very fluffy and cute.

We have been learning the signs for chicken and rooster.

We love watching them grow.
